Cultural Experience Camp for International Students in China
"Understanding China and Exploring Jiangxi" Cultural Experience Camp for International Students is a short-term international exchange brand project initiated by Yuzhang Normal University in 2024. It is mainly carried out for international students in the forms of culture and art courses, manual practice courses, visits to cultural landscapes, academic exchanges, and other means, with the aim of allowing overseas students to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture and enhance their identification with "the Chinese nation, Chinese emotions, and Chinese culture". The project has been held for two sessions so far: (I) 27 faculty and students from Kazakh-British Technical University came to our school to participate in the Chinese Traditional Culture and Art Experience Camp from July 15th to 21st, 2024; (II) 28 faculty and students from the Silpakorn University, Thailand, came to our school to participate in the Chinese Traditional Art Workshop and the China-Thailand Modern Design Exchange Exhibition from November 1st to 6th, 2024. Both sessions have received positive feedback and have been widely covered by national, provincial, and municipal media.
